Our startup/association is not a legally established structure, can we still apply?No. The Challenge is open to any structure established in one or more countries of the African continent for at least one year.

On the basis of which criterias are the applications evaluated?Applications are evaluated on the basis of the team presented, the feasibility and potential of the project, the proposed innovation, the social impact, and the need for funding and support demonstrated by the organisation (article 13.2 of the rules).

Does the selection process include an interview?No. However, it includes three phases for which your participation will be required: the application phase, the in-depth phase and the final selection phase.

Our startup/association is based outside Africa but has activities or branches on the continent, can we still apply?- Only if your structure is legally established in one or more countries of the African continent (article 4.1 of the rules).
